The last week of October 2005 we traveled to St. Simon's Island, GA to compete in the Georgia Senior Golf Association's championship tournament. The championship flight played at the Hampton Club, and the other golfers including the ladies' flights played at Sea Palms (which is where we stayed).
We had a great time (even though it was cold and windy the first couple of days). Chris was medalist and was awarded a large trophy to keep for one year.
There was a fantastic view from our room and spent hours looking at large fish jumping and beautiful birds flying, fishing and perching.
We had a memorable anniversary dinner at Delaney's Bistro where we enjoyed warm fois gras, lobster salad, venison chops and duck breast (and creme brulée). Mmmmm! 20 years sure have gone by fast!
